I’m a 30-something writer, born and raised in South Lincolnshire. I’ve lived in various place across the across the UK, as well as in Australia, but I currently split my time between Lincolnshire (where I live) and London (where I have a full time job).
I read History, first at the University of Nottingham (BA) and then Homerton College, Cambridge (MPhil). I specialised in 19th and 20th century British foreign policy but my interests are much wider than that.
Apart from history, my interests include politics, reading, crafts, theatre, photography and food. Most importantly, I am also the human servant to three cats – Oscar, Louis and Boo – who dominate my Instagram account.
If you follow me on Twitter, you might also notice that I campaign loudly against sexual violence and harassment with a particular focus on the UK Parliament and Westminster. I’ve written several pieces for the national media on this topic that explain why. You can find these over in my portfolio.
If you’d like to get in touch with me, send me an email or DM me on Twitter/Instagram.
